Dhalia Real Estate Services attended its second property fair in Sweden since the beginning of the year, when it participated in one of the most prestigious property fairs in Scandinavia - the Fairmedia Exhibition - held at the Slagthuset in Malmo on March 20 and 21.
Prior to the property fair, Dhalia and its Swedish partner Maltamaklarna held a seminar where they discussed Malta and its property market.
The seminar was opened by Malta's counsellor and chargé d'affaires in Denmark, Deborah Attard Montalto.
The audience was then addressed by Inger Soderlund, of Maltamaklarna, Goran Andersson of Tax Zero, John Huber of John Huber and Associates, and Dorothy Baldacchino of The Kempinski Residences.
The seminar was attended by a vast and diverse audience and sought to explain a number of issues related to Malta as a possible choice for retirement, holidaying, as well as buying property.
Dhalia's participation at Fairmedia was well received. Neville Sciberras, manager of Dhalia's Sliema branch, said response from the public was overwhelming and encouraging.
Fairmedia International, Scandinavia's largest organiser of exhibitions for overseas property, has organised more than 40 exhibitions featuring over 30 countries in the past six years.
This was Dhalia's sixth international property fair this year and the real estate agency is planning to actively participate in a series of other seminars, conferences and property exhibitions through the rest of 2010, which will be held at various destinations.
